Sausage Balls

A bit of kick with crispy, cheesy edges for a party appetizer that is sure to please

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. hot ground sausage
  • 2 cups Bisquick
  • 1 10 oz. shredded sharp cheese

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
  • Place the cheese and sausage in a large bowl.
  • Mix the sausage and cheese together with your hands. I'm serious.
  • Add in the Bisquick and continue mixing (with your hands, you can do it).
  • Pinch off a bit of the mixture and roll it between your hands to form small balls.
  • Bake at 350 for 15 to 20 minutes.

Notes

These freeze really well. Do not cook them before freezing.
I cooked mine 20 minutes but check around 15 so you don't burn them, depending on how your oven cooks.
