My Favorite Strawberry Desserts ~ Strawberry Pie
Something Special
I give you my word that there has never been a strawberry pie better than the one my mama makes. It is definitely worth your time to try this recipe.
There is something special about being in a strawberry patch. Maybe you went as a kid and now you take your kids. Searching each row on a local farm for those ripe, red berries to fill your bucket and sneaking a few to eat is just a sign that the weather is warming up and life is good. Who are we kidding? We snuck more than just a few! There are so many delicious desserts you can create with strawberries, but strawberry pie will always be at the top of my list.
The Best Fresh Dessert
Maybe you won’t forget that you are eating a pie, but the fresh strawberries will help you feel healthy at the same time. Strawberries actually have more vitamin C than oranges. Prevention reports, “Strawberries are rich in fiber as well as vitamin C, a nutrient pairing that’s great for reducing oxidative stress, which can reduce heart disease and cancer risk. Plus, strawberries are a good source of potassium, which has been shown to help protect against heart disease.” Studies suggest eating strawberries can reduce heart attacks, cholesterol, add folate to your diet, and even slow cognitive decline. Who knew these little berries were so amazing?
A fresh slice of strawberry pie…that’s the sign of warm weather and good days ahead. It’s a sign of time well spent together with your loved ones. Top your slice with Cool Whip and don’t waste any time digging in.

My Favorite Strawberry Desserts ~ Strawberry Cream Cheese Wontons
Cute, Quick Dessert
Looking for a cute, quick appetizer that differs from what you normally serve? Or a fun snack to make with your kids? Strawberry & cream cheese wontons are so delicious, fast, and simple. Let your kids help by adding the filling, and tackling the job of folding and sealing. They can also sprinkle the wontons with sugar after the frying is done and the wontons are safely away from the hot stove.
I used plain, whipped cream cheese so that it was easy and fast to mix and spread, but you could swap this out for regular cream cheese or strawberry cream cheese. The more I think about it…strawberry cream cheese would be delicious. If you try the recipe with it, let me know how it turns out!
When frying anything, I always burn the first batch because my heat is too high. These tiny treats will cook so fast. Don’t step away from the stove!

My Favorite Strawberry Desserts ~ Strawberry Salad
The Perfect Spring Dessert
This recipe was passed down from my great aunt. If you have never tried strawberry salad, you will be surprised at how such simple ingredients create a dessert that is absolutely delicious.
The recipe calls for sweetened strawberries and since it’s not strawberry season here yet, the strawberries I had were a bit tart.
You may not need to sprinkle as much sugar on them as I did in order to sweeten yours if they are fresh from the field or farmer’s market. I love adding lots of strawberries for the recipe, but you can of course cut back if you want more JELL-O and less add-ins.

My Favorite Strawberry Desserts ~ Strawberry and Pineapple Margarita Pie
A Taste of Summer
This strawberry and pineapple margarita pie is the dessert you have been waiting for! It’s so good! You will be so happy that you made this easy recipe when you take the first bite. The flavors are so bright and it’s like a taste of summer in your mouth but trust me, it’s refreshing in any season!
Simple & Easy Recipe
All of the ingredients in this pie are simple to find and use, and they make a great combination. You will definitely taste the lime right away, and the sweetness of the strawberry and pineapple folded in balances out the tartness. It’s not ice cream but it sure tastes like it. And possibly the best part? The saltiness of the pretzel crust. The recipe calls for crushed pretzels but I just broke pretzel sticks into tiny bits and it was delicious.
The next time I make this pie, I will substitute fresh lemon juice for half of the lime juice and decorate the top with sliced strawberries. You could also switch out the pineapples for crushed mandarin oranges. If you try a new twist, let me know what you think!
